Joanna and her team- absolutely excellent. Joanna was kind, wise, straightforward and agile. With her guidance the seller accepted under listing, concessions we asked for and more, and we closed on time. What's more is the seller was weirdly stubborn- but Joanna was not phased. I had experienced a poor realtor before, and Joanna wowed me with her energy and sense of humor and excitement. If/when I go to sell, I know who to call with no hesitation! (p.s. it's Joanna)

Who knew a random trip to a homebuying class at a brewery would lead to buying a new home. Ok--maybe that's not the BIGGEST surprise. But my experience with Joanna was great. She was open to any and all questions (some probably pretty silly) and made this first time home buyer feel at ease.

Joanna and the Awesome Nossum Group truly lived up to their name - awesome! Joanna was the perfect realtor for us as first-time home buyers. She really took the time to understand what we wanted and started finding options for us right away. Joanna was also willing to jump in the car at a moment's notice to rush to a new house on the market, scheduling a private showing as she went to be sure that we saw what we wanted as soon as possible. Because she's so on top of it, she managed to find us the perfect house in under a week! When we moved into the offer process she walked us through everything that we needed to expect and was in contact the whole time. With such a competitive real estate market, she is the type of person you want on your team. She was always very honest and straightforward with us, helping to keep us on track and confident. In a market where her paycheck is based on the value of the home we buy, she actually talked us out of looking at pricier options and reminded us of our goals with this property. Even with the low inventory for what we wanted, she kept us optimistic and made sure the house we bought was exactly what we wanted. If that doesn't convince you that Joanna and Awesome Nossum are really looking out for their clients' best interests then I don't know what would!
My husband and I found the Awesome Nossum Group as a recommendation from a friend who listens to the podcast and attended the Beers & Home Buying workshop. We were such a fan of the workshop that we also attended the How to Tour a Home class and had a Strategy Session late last year. We really appreciated all of the information we left with to help prepare us for when we were ready to buy, without the pressure to work with the team right away. Fast forward: We reached back out to Joanna in mid-June this year, and we closed on our new house mid-July! Working with Joanna was probably the easiest (and fastest) home buying experience I could ask for as a first time home buyer. Joanna Beecher and the Awesome Nossum Group were just fantastic! We were doing a long distance move to Seattle from the midwest and needed to do a jam packed weekend of showings with some remote showings as well. This group is excellent! We were never in the dark throughout the entire process of our home buying experience and they were always there to answer any questions or concerns we had. There were several twists and turns throughout the experience and they were transparent and on top of it all at every turn, always there to fill us in on where we're at or why there may be a shift. My partner and I also worked with Joanna at the Awesome Nossum group and Joanna is wonderful! She quickly learned what we were looking for and worked with us even when our schedules weren't as flexible as we'd hoped for viewing houses. We were also not locked into one neighborhood and she was more than happy to go as far and wide as we were looking. Joanna is reliable and knowledgeable and hopeful! As first time home buyers, we had many questions and concerns going into the process. Joanna was always very informative, helpful and patient with us. She worked closely with our mortgage team to quickly get us quotes. One of the biggest helps was having someone to look at houses with, either online or in person, and help define what we were looking for in a home. Nossum rhyming with Cossum was just the cherry on top.

Great experience working with the whole team. Extremely helpful with me being a first time home buyer. Helped me every step of the way. Would highly recommend at least going to one of the free classes they put on. Free food and beer too. Gave me the push I needed and helped me realize I could buy a home. Using the mortgage broker they recommended helped a lot too, great communication between all parties since they work so closely together. Really made the whole process very easy and not intimidating at all for a first timer. Couldn't be happier with the home I ended up with, within 5 min of my work and couldn't have done it without their help and guidance! Awesome group of people!
