Our commitment

Awesome Nossum Group is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that access to real estate information — searching for a home, understanding the market, learning about our services, and connecting with our team — should not depend on someone’s ability to see, hear, or use a mouse.

We are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice, the World Wide Web Consortium, and courts across the country.

What we’ve done

We design and build this site with accessibility as a first-class requirement, not an afterthought. Specifically:

• Semantic structure — the site uses proper HTML landmarks (navigation, main content, headings, footer) so screen readers can move through pages efficiently.
• Keyboard navigation — every interactive element on the site can be reached and operated using only a keyboard, with visible focus indicators.
• Color contrast — text and interactive elements meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and UI components).
• Alternative text — meaningful images include descriptive alternative text; decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
• Podcast transcripts— transcripts are being rolled out across the podcast archive. New episodes ship with a written transcript, and older episodes are being backfilled — you can find published transcripts in the “Transcript” section of each episode page.
• Video captions — video content on our YouTube channel is captioned; embedded videos on this site inherit those captions.
• Reduced motion— animations respect the operating system’s “reduce motion” preference for visitors who experience motion sensitivity.
• Responsive design — the site adapts to any screen size and supports browser zoom up to 400% without loss of content or functionality.
• Form labels and error messages — every form input is labeled, required fields are marked, and errors are announced to assistive technology.

Known limitations

We are honest about the areas where our accessibility is still improving:

• Third-party embedded tools. Some features on this site — including our Jotform intake forms, Acuity scheduling widget, and embedded YouTube video player — are provided by third-party services. We choose vendors with strong accessibility track records, but we do not control their code. If you experience a barrier with any of these tools, please contact us and we will help you complete the task another way.
• Historical podcast episodes.While all episodes now include transcripts, our earliest episodes’ transcripts are being curated and refined over time. If you need an improved transcript for a specific episode, please reach out and we will prioritize it.
• Property listing data. When we embed live MLS or IDX property data, we depend on the underlying data source to provide accurate alternative text for property photos. We are actively working with our data providers on this and will alert you to any listing where this is a barrier.
• PDF documents. Older PDFs linked from this site may not meet full accessibility standards. If you need an accessible version of any PDF, contact us and we will provide one within two business days.

How to report an accessibility barrier

If you encounter any part of this site that is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us. Your feedback is the most valuable input we have for making the site better.

Our commitment to you: We will respond within 5 business days, and we will work with you to provide the information or service you were trying to access — by phone, email, in-person meeting, or however works best for you — while we address the underlying issue on the site.

Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is not a project we complete once. We audit the site on a recurring schedule, we review every new page and feature against WCAG 2.1 AA before it ships, and we welcome outside review. If you are an accessibility professional or user who would like to help us do better, we would love to hear from you.

Formal complaint

If you believe you have been discriminated against based on a disability by our website and are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with:
